这个词是08年流行于网民中间的俚语，最初是浙江省东北部的方言，意为“绊”“倒”。后来就有了类似于“晕”或“吓一跳”的意思。

本意指山上强盗的老窝，现在的意思是盲目的模仿牌子货。缺乏独立的研发（researchanddevelopment）能力，靠模仿那些大品牌的产品在市场中立足。现在也被看成是反主流的草根社会文化。
