Lastweek,Ipickedupanimportantpieceofnewsfrommyschoolmate.HesaidtheUSAgovernmenthaddecidedtowithdrawtroopsfromIraq.WhenIheardthenews,Ididn’tbelieveit.However,itwastrue.WhenIturnedontheTVtowatchthefurtherreport,whatIsawwasthattheUSsoldierseventuallyreturnedhome,tiredandfrightened.

Whatinfluencestheirfeelingsisviolenceandwar.Theysawtoomuchbloodandtoomanypeoplekilledinthewar.What’sworse,theyhadtokillotherssometimesinordertosurvivethemselves.Facedwithsomuchviolence,theyarefilledwithfear.

Inourdailylife,therearealsomanyviolentcasesaroundus.Notonlydoesitaffectsourpublicorder,butitalsohasabadinfluenceonpeople,especiallytheteenagers.

Astherearelargequantitiesofharmsinviolence.Whatcanwedotoavoidit?Ithinkit’simportantforustobekindtoothers.Smilecaneasilyspreadintheair,sowhenwesmiletoothers,otherswillrepayusasmile.

Asforthegovernment,Ithinkeverycountryshoulddoworktogether.Whatcausestheconflictsbetweenthecountriesisthelackofcommunication.Understandingisabridgethatismadeupofloveandtolerance.Asthesayinggoes,“United,westand;divided,wefall.”.Tomakeourworldabetterplacetolivein,weshouldlearntotakecareofothers.Andwhatismoreimportantisthatweshouldlearntorespectothers.

Whentheloveofpeacespreadallovertheworld,smilewilltaketheplaceofcrying.Violencewillnolongerbeaproblem.AndI’msurewe’llhaveabetterfuture.
