Afterschoolthisafternoon,onmywayhomeImettwoAmericanfriendswholosttheirway.Theyforgotthewaytothehotelwheretheystayed.AsIknewwherethehotelwas,Idecidedtotakethemthere.Ontheroad,wetalkedalot.Itoldthemaboutthegreatchangesinthecity,suchasthewiderroad,themoreconvenienttransportation,thefresherairandsoon.IalsointroducedthatnowChinesestudentsneedntspendmostoftheirtimeontextbooksanymore,becausetheydidnthaveasmuchhomeworkasbefore.Intheirsparetime,theycouldchoosewhatovertheyliketolearn.TheAmericanfriendstoldmesomethingabouttheAmericanyouthaswell.

ItwaslatewhenIgothome,butIwasveryhappy.BecauseInotonlyhelpedAmericanfriends,butalsorealizedtheimportanceoflearningaforeignlanguagewell.

今天下午在放学回家的路上，我遇见两个迷路的美国朋友。他们忘记了去他们住的旅馆的路。我知道那家旅馆在哪儿，所以决定给他们带路。在路上，我们谈了很多。我介绍了家乡的巨大变化，比如马路更宽敞了，交通更方便了，空气更新鲜了等等。我还介绍说现在中国学生不必再把大部分时间花在课本上。他们的作业不像以前那么多了。在空闲时间里，他们可以选择任何喜欢的东西来学习。美国朋友也告诉了我一些美国年轻人的情况。

虽然我到家晚了，但是我很高兴。因为我不仅帮助了美国朋友，而且也认识到学好外语的重要性。

AlthoughitwaslatewhenIarrivedhome,Iwasreallyveryhappy.BecauseInotonlyhelpedAmericanfriendsoutoftrouble,butalsorealizedhowimportantitwastolearnaforeignlanguagewell.

今天下午在放学回家的路上，我遇见两个美国朋友，他们不知道怎么回旅馆了。他们看起来很着急。我知道那家旅馆在哪儿，所以决定给他们带路。在路上，我告诉他们我们城市已经发生了很大的变化。我还介绍说现在中国学生不必再把大部分时间花在课本上，他们有了更多的空闲时间。在空闲时间里，他们可以发展自己的兴趣爱好，参加一些社会活动。美国朋友也告诉了我一些美国年轻人的情况，增加了我对美国青年的了解。
